Who are we?

Creative Pulse is a fresh-faced, Los Angeles based non-profit production company committed to producing vibrant, challenging, and meaningful works of theatre, film, music, and dance for progressive audiences. Our company was founded on the core belief that all art forms inspire and evolve each other. Therefore we strive to weave together these artistic traditions in order to reimagine the way stories are told.

directed by Mary Lou Rosato (Drama Desk Award winner).
Starring the production will be Fran Bennett (winner of the Drama-Logue, NAACP Best Actress Theatre, and the AEA/AFTRA/SAG Diversity Honor Awards), Creative Pulse Co founders Jozben Barrett and Nikhil Pai, and James Avery (Emmy Award winner, known for his portrayal of the iconic “Phillip Banks” on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air). The play will also feature a talented ensemble of actors, designers, and musicians.
The story follows the inverted journeys of the two major players: the fall of King Richard II of Bordeaux and the rise of his cousin, Henry of Bolingbroke (later King Henry IV). The central question brought up by these two is that of monarchal legitimacy – what makes a king legitimately a king?
